Are we working our way thru the Constitution to do away with the bill of rights?

1st amendment - Protects the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, as well as the right to assemble and petition the government. One could argue that most of those rights are already gone.

2nd Amendment - Protects an individual's right to bear arms
Already move is underway to take this right away.
