That is not the first colorised coin issued by the RCM. I think one of the first ones was for Remembrance Day (Veteran's Day) a few years ago and featured a colored poppy.. The quarters you have are part of a set of 8 quarters and a Toonie. Four quarters are colorised and four not. And there is a really nice folder to save them in showing the history of the War of 1812...
