Well, Yes and No. I did some research...

Yes, Seeburg did buy Williams Electronics, as a wholely owned subsidiary. Williams Electronics manufactured slots under the Seeburg name. After a while, Seeburg was doing very poorly in the music business and they sold Williams to an entity named Williams Gaming. Presumeably created to buy Williams Electronics. This has evolved to what we now know as Williams Gaming.

Wow, what an evolution!
