The story... I was at the antique fair looking for chips with my wife and mother. I always go on the 2nd Sunday of every month. I had a person there that was going to bring some chips, but he was a no show. So , I was all bummed about it. I went around picking up some drink tokens and a few California chips. I also pick up a few unknown chips. My mother (1 of my spotters).. Tells me that she thinks she saw a chip at this guys booth. I went over and there it was. It was in a zip-lock sandwich bag. I asked the guy how much? He said $XXX.00. I asked him to see it. When he brought it out there was a sticker on the bag that said rare and for 1/2 of the $XXX.00 he quoted. He said.. I guess it's only this price. I offered 80% of the asking price and took it. I figured I was getting a great deal... I thought the chip was $200+...but didn't have a real idea what I found until I looked at the chip guide. Christmas came early!
