I think I saw this set (or one similar to it) on Ebay a couple of weeks ago.

I thought it looked very cool, and almost bid on it. I didn't because I could not figure out what type of chip it was. Are they compression mold clay clips, or injection mold chips?

If they are compression mold, are they made out of the same material as other Dice and Car (DIECAR) clay chips? They look like they are made out of a different material than other DIECAR chips I have? The hotstamp looks different too, and perhaps not as pressed in as other hot stamps on this chip mold.
