How did the seller get the chip to the buyer? You say that the transaction was made via e-mail, but you can't send the chip via e-mail. If it was mailed then the seller has the name of the buyer, don't they?

And if they arranged to meet in person and the seller doesn't know, or remember, the name of this mystery buyer then the seller would have the buyer's contact e-mail, right? What am I missing?
