ID came back as HARRY E. WILSON 6535 SEAVIEW AVE. N.W. SEATTLE, WASHINGTON 2-27-70
500 chips ordered...
"Harry Eugene Wilson was born 1912 in Simpson, Canadian province of Saskatchewan. By the early 1940’s he had
made his way west to Vancouver, BC where he managed a café for a while. In the mid 1940’s he moved to the US
and took up residence in Portland, Oregon where he became a very successful insurance salesman. His success in
the insurance business led him to Seattle in the mid 1950’s where he owned and held executive positions with several
insurance companies including Western Fidelity and Community Heath, both of which he was president. When he
moved to Seattle he became a member of the Seattle Yacht Club.
The delivery address was his residence. The residential complex is immediately adjacent to a large marina. In 1970,
the same year as the chip delivery, Wilson purchased a new 43’ cruiser. Perhaps the chips were for use on his boat.
Although only 58 at the time of the chip delivery, Wilson had already been retired for several years. Wilson died at
San Diego, CA in 1974, although he was still a resident of Seattle. Not sure what he was doing in San Diego—perhaps
he had taken his boat down the coast."
