~~~ to answer the question as to why someone would switch inlays and reintroduce the chip back on to the tables; there is a thread in the archive where such a practice was taking place while at the table and when the person doing it was asked why (the same question as yours) -- the person making the post said the response was something like: "for the fun of it."

The casino was on the Strip, I believe, but I do not remember which one for sure...
