I think this is great news as it gives both a Hilton property (Tropicana) and a Marriott property (Cosmopolitan) on the south end of the strip. SPG is still lacking as their hotel, the Causarina, is in bad need of an upgrade. But Hilton ensures that the hotel stays at a decent standard if it has their name on it. They've gotten rid of a lot of hotels that have slipped, including the LVH.
