OK. I'll cut the guy some slack. However, there were several eating establishments in the same area that had less expensive menues and some were take out only so he could have gotten by with that but he chose the most expensive of the lot. By the way I had just eaten and my food bill was about one tenth of the price of what he chose. But I thought let him eat what he wants and it was not so much the price of the meal as the fact that he didn't eat it.

Maybe he does have some mental problem that prohibits him eating in public. Have to admit I never heard or thought about that.
