Don't give up. There are still folks who need help and it sounds like you do a lot of good.

Another funny story (sad actually):
A couple of weeks ago I was sitting in traffic and saw a guy running down the street carrying an aluminum crutch. Didn't give it much thought. Half an hour later with my errands complete, I went through the same intersection where he was limping pitifully... and using the crutch. It was a "prop" in more ways than one...
