So I am just leaving the computer room this afternoon and my phone rings. It is the same guy who then appologizes a lot about his behavior yesterday. It seems his wife had some surgery the day before and he hadn't slept for 30 hours or so. Now he wants to meet again and sell me the chips. I can't say "no" becasue one of the chips was an old Frontier chip and was one of two varieties - one worth $100 and the other worth $700. And I never studied the chip closely enough to know which one it is. So we meet up again today and he offers me everything for a $10 discount since I had to drive there twice. He also found some poker chips and threw in a few bakelite chips and a 1957 book on card cheating. Plus he has a set of old illegal club chips that he says have the words "20 grand" on them that he still can not find. Those are the ones I really want!

BTW the Frontier chip was the $100 version but at least it helped cover most of the cost of everything I got from him. Some of the dice I got look to be good ones. I will post about ID's on them in a little while.
