Yes they had the same ownership for a while... I remember back in 1975 they had vans that hit the South Lake Tahoe motels that had both Barney's and South Tahoe Nugget logos. The picture on the matchbook is most likely after 1980 - Barney's removed their neon signage around 1980 or so. Barney's sold out to Harrah's in 1988 and became Bill's.
