Winston Churchill once said "“Democ­racy is the worst form of gov­ern­ment, except for all the oth­ers”.

Be thankful that you live in a democracy and that you have the opportunity to vote and have your voice heard. That you can speak your mind about the government and its leaders without fear. That we have an orderly government and every 4 or 8 years there is a non-violent peaceful change of leadership. Most citizens of the world do not.

The USA is facing monumental challenges. Both from bad decisions of the past and new pressures from a changing world. We need cooperation and solutions, not doomsday'ers and whiners. We should all be pulling together. I do not fear any foreign threat to the security of the United States, but the growing divisiveness in our own country can destroy us.
