I know none of us would ever do anything like that, but I know of two exhibits; one here in the USA, and the other in Monaco, where the USA display has at least 40 Z+ chips in slabs of laquer and the Monaco exhibit had the chips actually glued to the wall in the merchant's office.
Some chips from Puerto Rico that are set in Epoxy have fetched well over $400 -- that were at the same exact level of the examples not embedded.... I guess a rare piece is a rare piece no matter if it's mounted or embedded.
