I do believe Illegals should not be mixed in with the other states but separate, have their own category. They are mixed right now e.g.: Michigan.

I know the problem we face with Illegals as people who found boxes might start making up their own ID's without substance.

We already have Ed's site which has the listings along with pics so why reinvent the wheel. His generosity of letting anyone access his site is great. I do know he is working on adding many Illegals to it. Why reinvent the wheel, maybe we can just have a link from the Guide to his site as we already have it from the club site. The person screening "new submissions" I would think would be Ed since it is his site.

Maybe Ed, Gene or other Illegal collectors will read this and add to this thread.

One other thought. It would be great for an "expert" on California chips differentiate between the Illegal and Legal chips one day. I collect only Illegals and I know a few places for sure that are in the Illegal category since they had craps and roulette, e.g. The Cove in Palms Springs. I know there are many more but I in no way could even begin to separate them. Maybe a California "expert" in their list could flag out the Illegal casinos of yesteryear. That would be a great help to us Illegal collectors unless the people who collect these feel it is of no use.

The above is not to be critical in anyway to anyone. Just some rambling thoughts on a cloudy but fantastic Saturday morning in Wisconsin while drinking my coffee. Any day I wake up is fantastic.
