We spent the next day driving from Pensacola to Hernando,Fl. for 4 days at our son Craig & his wife Mary's house. Craig is a Director of Pharmacy at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness & Mary teaches in a local school,to a class of youngsters.
The 1st night they took us out for dinner to a ribs joint in Crystal River. Classy place with peanut shells on the floor but excellent food. Since Craig & Mary both have long working hours they do not get many home cooked meals. They eat out on weekends. So Ann went to K-Mart & bought some meats and to a local farm stand to buy in season veggies. Ann gave them 3 excellant home cooked meals. She could give Paula Dean some competion. Our days were spent this way After they both went to work we went to Flea Markets. There is at least one every day locally. The big one is at Webster on Monday. You could spent all day there. The rest of the days were spent with their nine persian cats.
In the morning when Craig got up he would go into the kitchen & announce Who's hungary. These cats would come out of hiding & run to the laundry room where each cat had his own bowl of water. plate of food & litter box. This happens again when he gets home from work. Its a treat to see this. They each wait at their own bowl for him to dish out theirs.
A couple of times we went with Craig for breakfast on his way to the hospital. We did this on Thursday. We then said goodbye, went to a flea market & headed home.
