We drove thru Tennessee to Memphis & down to Tunica. Harrah's, Roadhouse, & Horseshoe were our choices to finish the maximum points needed to each acquire $750 in comps in the Great Race promotion. We chose Harrah's because we stayed there before & Ann likes feeding the fish & turtles. We got a bonus because that day if you earned 25 points you got a free buffet. So this was our 2nd Paula Dean's buffet of this trip. Unlike Horseshoe in Southern Indiana this was the best buffet of our trip. We decided to check in to the hotel ,but the price was outrageous.
Ann got a local newspaper & stayed in the car to read it ,while I went into The Horseshoe. I took these shots of their Caddy parked out front. When I got back to the car Ann said look at this deal. There was a coupon for hotel 1 night stay at The Fitz. For $30 your got the room & 2 free breakfast buffets. That was one of the best deals we got on this trip.
