Has anyone been following the fiasco at Crockford's? In a nutshell Phil Ivey won $11.5 million and so far they have refused to pay him. Anyone want to know why? Glad you asked. Most large casinos are owned by large companies headed by accountants who don't know dick about gambling. They think something is crooked. Any proof? From what I have been told, none so far. These accountants can't come to terms that they are actually in the gambling business and every now and then someone other than the house wins! Where are the British regulators? Are they afraid of Genting? If they can't find something wrong I'll bet they invent something. Sometimes it's embarassing to be in this business.
