Re: A different city in a different time.

Lamb was a legend in LV.
Good or bad? vbg

Mobsters did not kill legends nor cops. vbg It was bad for business. vbg That pretty much was a rule accross the USA in the "Era Of The Illegals," and carried on in LV.

Moe Dalitz would NEVER have allowed it. His OK would have been needed before it happened. Ask Bugsy Siegel. vbg Ask Tony "The Ant" Spilotro. vbg
Here is one who lived you could ask. Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal. vbg
He survived a car bomb at Tony Romas on Saraha ave. OOPS, never mind, If I remember right he died in Florida last year.

I thought "Casino" was a good portrayal of LV. Casino was mostly the story of The Stardust. But it was a movie.
Joe Pesci as Nicholas "Nicky" Santoro AKA Tony "The Ant" Spilotro - Robert De Niro As Sam "Ace" Rothstein AKA Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal. vbg

Older locals will always tell you "I wish it was still the 60's-70's in LV." "THEY" knew how to run casino's." vbg
