This is a commemorative coin I picked up a few years back at the Carson City Mint in Carson City, Nevada. It is one troy ounce of .999 silver. It was actually struck at the Carson City Mint as a commemorative coin for the turn of the century! It was struck on a proof planchet and is very lustrous. The scans do not do justice to this coin!

Any scratches shown on the scan are on the cover; the coin has never been out of the capsule.
