The first casino of our travels was Mardi Gras in West Virginia. We were there when it first opened as the Tri-State Casino in 2008. both Tri-State & Mardi Gras chips are used today. Most of the Tri-State chips are not in collectable condition. The $2.50 chips are because they were issued later.
Now for a little sightseeing we stopped in Frankfort, the state capitol of Kentucky.
Next stop was The Horseshoe in Southern Indiana. Was on this boat when that was the only thing there. Now they have added A hotel,2 indoor parking lots A gift shop buffet etc. This was on the Great race so we earned our points. We then ate at Paula Dean's buffet. ( was not a good as the one we ate at in Tunica.) It was now getting dark. Not wanting to take that long winding road out of there in the unlit road, we stayed at the hotel. When we turned on the TV. my name & date was on the screen. I tried taking pictures but they did not turn out. The 4 decks of gaming closed at 3AM
