and the buyer agreed to cancel on the other end, I logged into paypal, clicked the refund button on that sale & the full refund including fees were returned to the buyer (fees paid back by paypal.)

So if it ever happens to you, you can cancel a sale, have the buyer agree & all fees will be refunded. All accept the listing fees.

I now know more than I did 5 minutes ago but since then I have forgotten twice as much.
