Looking for info on Pittsburgh Illegals

I was playing poker last night at our local casino which has been open for I think 5 years now. There were 2 older gentleman at my table that I have played with a lot and I know they used to play in the illegals. Last night though there were 2 other guys as well as the 2 original ones that were all sharing stories about back in the day. I just kept quiet and listened to what they had to say and boy did it sound interesting. When they were all done talking I told the guy next to me that I collect poker chips and told him about the club and this board. He rattled off about 20 illegal games that were all shut down coincidentally at the same time that our first casino opened. He said that he was friends with the lady who ran the largest and most well known room. I think he said the room was call Marie's Room. Until last night I thought Pittsburgh only had a few small games back in the day but it turns out that there just might be a huge history here. I do not think there is anyone else on this board from my area but if any of you know or have any information or stories about Pittsburgh illegals I would love to hear them.

I found it funny that when the next dealer came to the table the first thing out of her mouth was have you seen Marie lately. This dealer apparently used to deal in the underground games. She said that she made more money doing that then she would ever make working in the casino. The guy that I was talking to said that he is going to attempt to track down some chips for me. Hopefully he will come thru!! He also told me that there are 2 games that are still running at a fire hall but even those are about to shut down.
