in favor of using my handheld in a USB tethered mode with my lap top. My handheld is a Samsung Nexus S 4g on Sprint. Last week I was fat, dumb and happy with my FoxFi (wifi) tethering (as a wifi hot-spot) as I could connect to the Internet via my lap top or Kindle Fire for free (I have unlimited data with Sprint), but made a huge mistake 2 days ago!
Sprint notified me of an Android update and I downloaded it and suddenly my FoxFi fails to work. So, the next best app (to tether) is EasyTether, but it is USB (wired) connected and it costs (just a one time $9.99).
But it does work, albeit a bit slow.
So, whats my point?... For the time being, I am not a good source of information on the COMCAST issue, but that should please David, as it keeps my complaint level down.
