I know - sad situation for me - my street is an orphan, the fiber runs down the street next to us but they don't plan to do my street for at least 5 years. My son had fiber to the house when he was living in London also - and has in at his place in NY now - I think it spoils you. I feel lucky to have what I have now - it only became available about three months ago when the phone company put in a new DSLAM near my house.
