All they had years ago was a bingo hall, then added a few slots, now a full casino and adding on a hotel soon. But 22 years ago it was know as Potawatomi Bingo. That was the name. If I had to guess I would say it is from Milwaukee.

Here is an early time line it opened 1991.

1991 – Potawatomi Bingo opens in Milwaukee

1992 – Slot machines are added, following the signing of a first-stage gaming compact with the state of Wisconsin

2000 – Phase One of Potawatomi Bingo Casino opens, offering slot machines, table games, a 2,000-seat bingo hall, restaurants and a theater.
