According to the USPC files I've seen all of these chips were ordered from the Agua Caliente or Baja California Companies. All but the EC chip were ordered on the same day, May 22, 1928. The EC chip was ordered Sept 29, 1929. This was when a large quantity of Agua Caliente value chips were ordered. Robert Eisenstadt has a great bit of research about the people that got Agua Caliente started. He has chips with a CJ and BL as made for two of the "Border Barons". It only follows that these other chips were to be for pampering the egos of other higher ups in the Agua Caliente Co. Does anyone have names that would go with the initials CH/HC, GW, or EC? The fact that seven or eight colors ( all the same colors) were made of each design says roulettes to me. There were an awful lot of chips sent to Tijuana in the 1920's
