Brian,
Back in 2010, I stayed at Caesars Palace and I will not stay there again.
1) 4 hours just to check in, because "we are in the middle of updating our computers".
2) Broken stand-a-lone room lamp (easily seen), footprint on wall (easily seen), dirty windows (easily seen).
3) Requested to change rooms, "we currently don't have any available".
4) 10:30PM that first night, banging on the door... "house cleaning"... "Oh, we show room need clean" (don't you just love broken english)... really, at 10:30PM at night?!
5) Next morning, toilet won't flush (broken chain), shower door won't close (water all over bathroom floor)... and yes, reached for a towel only to have a couple of torn holes in it.
6) That morning, spoke to service manage at front desk to address all the issues... didn't even bother to look at me, just jotted what I was saying (still no rooms to move to).
7) Came back to the room later that evening, room was made, toilet now flushing, new towels... however, lamp still almost in half, footprint on wall, windows still dirty, and my absolute favorite in regards to fixing the shower door... maintenance pointed the shower nozzle to the back corner away from the door.
8) Spoke to another service manager the following day, didn't seem to care.
Never had any issues at Golden Nugget, Flamingo, or Mirage.
Regards,
Thomas (R-7788)
