All you needed from me was just a little more evidence...

And, about the clothing store...the 1953 City Directory lists Kolstad's Toggery at 17 Fremont Street (and when searching our postcards for Goldrings, I found one that shows some clothing in the window!).

And in the early days, the Las Vegas Tavern was there grin

I can read "Restaurant" on the sign in the window on this card...but no matter how much I blow it up (darn pixle dots mad , I can't swear it says Goldring's (but I can't say that it doesn't, either) grin
