Re: New C&S attribution for California -- Foleys

Huntington Beach is about 30 minutes up the road from me, in Orange County.
It was incorporated as a city in 1902, so I'd record it as Huntington Beach.

"Los Patos" is Spanish for "the ducks", which is consistent with the artwork on the chip.

Bolsa Chica is a wetlands area along part of the coastline in Huntington Beach, now called Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. It is a "flyway" for migrating birds.

If you do a Google maps search for Los Patos Ave. in Huntington Beach, you'll see the street intersecting Bolsa Chica St. a bit north of the wetlands.
I don't know if this could have been the location of Foley's (never heard of it), but it's a place to further the research.

Huntington Beach does have a historical society. Its "boom" days were when oil was found in the area, creating instant wealth for the fortunate people in the area. Named after Henry Huntington, of the Huntington Library fame in Pasadena.
