Be sure to ask if the chip he shows in his Ebay auctions will be the SAME chip he sends- he is in the habit of using what he calls 'stock photos'

I bought a California Hotel $5 chip that he showed as near mint in the photo, then lists condition of chip as used in the description and sent me a heavily worn chip. After I filed a complaint with Paypal, he refunded my money upon return of the chip, then put me on his blocked bidder list.

I still believe that the photos you post of an item are 99% of the description.
