I would suggest getting an SSD (Solid State Drive) instead of HDD (Hard Disk Drive). I don't know the current price of SSD's, I haven't kept up.
When I turn on the power strip and press the ON button on my PC it takes all of thirty seconds to begin.
Here's a screen shot of an Avast full system scan I just did. My PC has two HDD (1TB each) along with the 128G SSD and it was scanned with 228.9GB of data in 15 minutes and 15 seconds. Hyper FAST!
