asking for information they already have raises a red flag to me.
it was only last week, my bank locked out my account due to a fraud red flag
And when asked the bank asked me if i tried to use my card at a Premier Inn in Great Britan
the day before. Really? As much as i would love the visit across the pond ....NO i did not authorize the transaction and TY for catching it! Now, as i change my card number with paypal, i can see why verification is needed or asked for , which i did, but now, they want more and again. ie copy of DL

it would be easier to close the account
