My plates were due and look at what my wife surprised me with... This commemorative plate actually came out about 3 months ago - you see 2011 on the plate but Nebraska plates designs are changed every 4 years and 2011 was the last plate design change.

The plate was designed by a graphic designer from UPRR, and the extra proceeds go the the Union Pacific Railroad Museum which is now actually located in Council Bluffs, Iowa (Across the Missouri River from Omaha). There are approximately 8,000 UPRR employees in Nebraska.
