I have offered waitresses money for chips. Some take it some don't. I have also seen the waitress walk right over to the wheel and cash in. I always take notice. Some places are harder to harvest than others and I will take a few and if stopped say I tipped the waitress with them. So I like to know if she walks with them or not.

What is to stop a waitress from holding roulette chips from a one dollar player and cash them in when a 5 dollar player is drinking.

Now as for harvesting and casinos. I have asked pit bosses I know if they can sell me some. I have been told play and take what you want. Was once offered a set by a pit boss who knew I collected chips and told him thanks, but I already have them.

I even had games stopped while I was sold chips then play resumed.

So anything can happen.
