I was only responding to your statement of: "She can't cash these chips in for tips". I had already assumed that you did not mean Nevada and was only pointing out that while other jurisdictions may prohibit the servers from cashing in (or otherwise redeeming toke roulettes for money) Nevada does not.
Interesting to me was that this was the first time I have ever heard that a roulette check, being used as a toke, was not redeemable by the server for money.
I was NOT taking exception to anything you said and in fact was agreeing with your strategy to obtain roulette checks, as I had used it back in 1999 (which I rounded off to "a while back").
If my post seemed to say that any collectible interests of one gaming jurisdiction is better than another jurisdiction, then that was certainly was not my intent.
