You want to be at the host hotel because that's where all of the fun is!

A Gaming Times Super Bowl Show at AZ Charlie's was the very first chip show I attended back in 1997(?). Walking from your room to the elevator to go downstairs is much better than having to drive or cab half way across town back and forth - Charlie's is not close to any other casino/hotels.

Stay for the Super Bowl and watch it with your friends there. They've had pretty good Super Bowl watching parties the times I've been there.

The gaming is probably better there than in most places offering you room comps. What good is a free room when the casino is likely to take more of your money with crappy table games and lousy slot payouts?
