This was done by setting cut, polished diamonds in a white gold chip... which at the time ran between 8,000 and 10,000 schillings per chip.

BTW, 20% of the earnings from face value of Casinos Austria 'Special Issue Chips' (which they've been producing since 1971) has been donated to Olympic Games... along with other cultural and athletic causes.

They're very chipper friendly and when the 100 oS Hunder... was released I made arrangements with them where CCGTCC members could purchase the jetons at face, directly from them.

I published the offer in our club magazine back then and it was a big hit; some chippers were buying 20 and 30 jetons at a time.
