Never seen this chip, but the Flamingo Hilton did in fact have $1000 and $5000 chips back in the day. Never saw anything bigger, but that doesn't mean they didn't have them. In the late 1980s to early 1990s, I saw first hand some of the biggest craps games there. Is was nothing out of the ordinary for all 8 tables to be jamming, with some of the games big enough that there were TWO boxmen on each game, not to mention all the suits in the pit!

How times change....when's the last time you saw one boxman, much less two on a single dice game! And of course my collecting taste didn't quite run up to the yellows and the chocolates back then or even today!

I'll ask some of the old timers that are still there next time I'm in town and let you know what I find out.
