Here we have a colorful cover that goes right back to the start of Nevada gaming, legalized gaming that is. Dating from 1931 The Washoe Bar is listed as "Washoe Cafe, 46 E. Commercial Row"
Not sure I would wanna eat Chinese food at a place called the "Dog House"!!!! 1935-1945
Just a plain old cover with a classic font. This cover may date from the casino era of another Nevada "Overland Hotel" 1953-1956
Another pretty hidious looking cover from the Spot in Sparks. No Gaming table listing but I do have another example from the "The Spot Bar", same address, that list's "liberal slot machines" on the cover.
This one is just plain worn-out so until I aquire a finer example this will have to do.
Not sure what "fried colored chicken" is but I'm guessing it is referring to the nationality of the folks who perfected the recipe. Also note the "Mulligan Stew" is MAN style, whatever that means? Below is a photo of the Winehouse in 1904
And one for Pam.........not quite as cool as the glass swizzle but it works for me
and finally a real handsom devil, likely the owner of the Black Gold Club, in Carson City dates of operation unlisted. A set of small key chips I'd like to have.
