All casino roulette wheels are check everyday before they go into play. If the gaming inspector discover unbalanced wheel in play to the public they will be penalize like unshuffled mini bac shoe. The Pit Boss or the Floorperson will check them with "professional level" in 3 or 4 crossing. They will test spin and listen to the sound of silence so to speak.

These wheels are very sensitive to pressure touch - that's why most roulette table wheels are enclosed with high enough shield to protect the public from touching it.

Most often they are check with the level if there are numbers that are often repeated. Dealers are fired if the camera noticed that he looks at the wheel before he spin the ball.

Dealer can control when to spin the ball and to drop in certain dozens for sure.

Used casino roulette wheel would cost about $300 but shipping can cost you. The spindle is the most delicate part - if it is rusty forget about it. Dealers are not allowed to grab the pegs when they spin - these are the dividers that holds the ball still when they drop into a number.

Huxley's wheel are the most expensive and the most dependable.
