As Brenda has reminded me on more than one occassion ... "the thrill is in the hunt".

Many years ago, I purchased a very large lot of casino ashtrays from Al Moe at a very reasonable price that I thought would be a nice surprise gift for Brenda. When she opened the large cartons that arrived via UPS from Reno ... at first glance she showed surprise, but then disclosed that she would have much rather found the trays on her own. Since then, I don't buy any more surprises ... and I have to agree with her. The thrill of finding something on your own IS in the hunt! Anybody can purchase items off a fixed price list, but the thrill of finding something special on your own at a bargain price at a yard sale or flea market or through personal contacts is very satisfying.
