Besides one or two bad apples replacing good chips with crappy chips the postal rates helped kill Round Robins. Shotguns were fun as well.
I also think as the older collectors started filling their collections they needed less and less chips than was offered. But maybe the newer collectors can start these up again and have some fun the way we did.
