After selling more than 800 items on EBAY, and being a 100 percent seller, I received a note from a California customer claiming his chip never arrived. It was the only one I had like it except the one in my collection. At first, he just wanted his money refunded. Having done that immediately I told him I had a postal receipt showing a large envelop, first class package had been mailed to his unique zip code. He then wanted me to send my chip I had to him since I stated in my listing, "satisfaction guaranteed." The posting also states "money gladly refunded if unhappy with purchase." Anyway, I refunded his PayPal money plus the fees associated with the transaction. He refuses to reply to my emails, and I guess he will leave negative feedback -- my first one. My postal facility employees -- all really nice people -- tell me it appears someone may have stolen the item from his mail box since I had a zip code routing number that directed the package straight through to his zip code by using that address' specific bar code. Regardless of how nice you are with dealing with a problem there is always someone who sees the situation differently. EBAY is no help and have offered little hope if I get a negative response. Selling on EBAY has changed since its inception and offering low-end chips doesn't seem to have a future after paying all the new shipping, listing and other fees. I guess this is a "double-edged" sword problem -- the seller gets no protection and the buyer seems to get preferential treatment cause whatever he says is the EBAY way. Anyone else have this problem?
