They are "route" tokens that were used in various casinos in the Deadwood area.
When gambling started in 1989 in Deadwood casinos were limited by the number of machines/floor space.
What developed was in place of a large casino in one building the area was cut up to include several smaller casinos within that area each within the guidelines. Therefore you might find several casinos within the same block/area. That is part of the reason Deadwood has so many casinos. Not each casino could afford to produce their own tokens for their individual casino. Two companies (A. G. Trucano and Black Hills Novelty) produced "route" tokens that were honored in a number of Deadwood casinos.

What you have are examples of "route' tokens produced by BH Novelty. The company produced a series of 5 tokens in 1997, 5 in 1998, 4 in 1999 and a series of 5 in 2000. Also $2 and $5 tokens were made in other years. For your information, Trucano produced tokens in 1999, 2000, 2005 and 2008.
