Reminds me of Rapid City, SD about 30 years ago.. we stayed at the Super 8 and that nite, there was a lightning storm... SO, I set my camera on a tripod out in the parking lot thinking I would get a great shot with my Pentax 35mm ... I got a couple of shots and then there was a strike that was to close for comfort and I just grabbed the tripod and ran for the indoors. As it turned out, I did get some nice shots. Don't know where those photos are now.... BUT, if the circumstances are right, I might try it again with the newer digital camera I have now..!
