I was thinking today about how when I was a kid (back in the 50's), Most cars had whitewall tires. When I was still pretty young, I remember having the option to "turn the whiteside" in or out. I didn't know that the first tires were all white *yeah, it's all wite wif me* until I read this wikipedia page. Seems like white went outta vogue, until "pimping" the ride became more fashionable among some. Boy, talk about irony, eh? Anyway check out this link:
