You must use a picture that has considerably higher resolution than is needed for the pic in the auction listing. Otherwise, there is nothing for the "magnifying glass" to do, as it cannot add bits to your picture. eBay has specs for your picutre's resolution on line, I believe as part of the sequence you have to go through to create a new auction listing.
