Sahara Reno opened in 1978 with CIC chips, Del Webb took over the Nevada Club in Laughlin in 1978 with CIC chips, opened the Park Tahoe in 1979 and used CIC chips; about the same time the Sahara Tahoe put out CIC chips. In July 1981 the Claridge in AC opened with CIC chips. The Mint in LV even had CIC chips. So my guess is the late 1970's to early 1980's the Consolidated Casino Corporation subsidiary of Del Webb Corp preferred the use of Bud Jones CIC chips.
